The challenge
As RENT celebrates its 40th anniversary, this interactive PDW brings together scholars across career stages to reflect on the legacy and future of critical entrepreneurship research. How can the field respond to emerging challenges such as AI, platform economies, climate change, exclusion and geopolitical uncertainty?
What we will do
Through cross-generational dialogue and collaborative agenda-setting, participants will explore the tradition's key contributions, identify its blind spots and define priorities for the coming decade. Together, we will take the first steps towards an "Antwerp Agenda for Critical Entrepreneurship Research."
What participants will gain
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of critical entrepreneurship scholarship, new research connections across generations, and concrete ideas for advancing alternative, interdisciplinary, and reflexive research agendas.
Who should attend
The PDW welcomes doctoral students and scholars at all career stages interested in critical, alternative, interdisciplinary or reflexive approaches to entrepreneurship. No prior experience in critical entrepreneurship research is required.
