FINAL SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Please note: These guidelines apply to papers that have been accepted for presentation at the RENT 2026 Conference. The abstract submission deadline was 18 May 2026, and authors were notified of the outcome on 30 June 2026. New submissions are no longer accepted.

Types of Papers

At RENT 2026, accepted authors may present either a Full Paper or a Work-in-Progress (WIP) Paper.

Both Full Papers and WIP Papers include an oral presentation and an assigned discussant. WIP sessions are slightly shorter than Full Paper sessions.

A full paper is a well-written paper with clear objectives, a well-crafted literature review, a sound methodology, and a transparent presentation and discussion of the findings. A full paper must be between 8,000 and 10,000 words long. The paper is almost ready to be submitted as a journal article.

A Work-in-Progress (WIP) paper is a well-written paper with limited data, data analysis, provisional results, or other interim issues. A WIP paper may be shorter than a full paper, but it must contain at least 4,000 words.

When uploading your final paper to the Fourwaves platform, you will be asked to indicate whether your submission should be considered as a Full Paper or a Work-in-Progress (WIP) Paper. Please note that the Organising Committee reserves the right to determine the final presentation format.
